This means we consider your anxieties, fears, and other emotions, and tailor treatment plans to your specific needs.
We provide a bespoke approach and offer a VIP comfort menu that ensures you have options ranging from:
- Distraction such as TV on the ceiling or iPads
- Noise cancelling headphones and squishy sensory toys
- Deep listening and empathy – we hear what you say and also hear what you don’t say (what you may be too embarrassed or afraid to say)
- We use the “Tell Show Do” method – especially effective with children
- Relaxation breathing – box breathing method as an example
- Progressive muscle relaxation and systematic desensitization
- Pharmacological strategies to dental anxiety management such as happy gas, sedation or rescue remedy for those who prefer flower essences.
